The Rev. Pastor Schulz officiated :
at the wedding at St. Paul 's Church,
Ni Ni (Vic.), of Emilie Verina, sec
ond daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. V.
Rohde, 'Sunny Vale,' Gerang Gerang
(Vic.), and Mervyn Claude, eldest son
of Mr.' and Mrs, C. G. Piltz, Culcairn.
The bride was given away by her
father and wore a French satin gown, 1
the front of which was smartly ,
shirred at the shoulders and at the
corselet waist, and buttoned at the'
back from tho nock to waist, with tiny
satin buttons.1 Tlio' belt fell softly in
folds and . was also buttoned at the
back with tiny satin buttons. Square
sleeves; trimmed with pin-tucks at the
wrist came ;to a pe^k over the hand
and were buttoned at the wrist with
four tiny satin buttons. The skirt was
of ; eight pieces, . fitting neatly at the
hips and falling.' into flairs, a long
train -at the back being trimmed with
sprays , of orange blossom. As the
:bride left tho church, lucky shoes were
hung on her arm by little Sylvia and
.Leon Schoff,-- niece and nephew of the ;
bride. ? The veil was of Swiss embroi- '
dered tulle .and .was attached to the
head, with a halov of orang'e blossom.
She- carried a sheaf bouquet of water
lilies, cactus dahlias and rose buds, i
The bride was attended by her sister,
Miss Myrtle Rolid'e, and her cousin,
Miss Ivy Borgelt.' Their frocks were
of lemon and orange crinkled georg
ette, dainty half-puffed sleeves, shirred
up the centre, at the shoulders and at
?the front of the bodice. Full swing
skirts were finished at the waist with
a dainty satin ribbon belt, forming a
soft bow at front. The back of the
bidice was trimmed with tiny buttons,
and the back of the skirts shirred at
the waist, finished with a shoulder
spray of rose buds, golden spirea and jl|
blue delphinium. Their ? head-dresses
were haloes of autumn tinted forget
me-nots. Each carried a posy of |i|pf
autumn toned gladioli and dahlias. II1'
The little fiower-girl, Norma Schultz, [j;|tv
was f rocked in pale blue crinkled jfr
georgette, shirred at the yoke and - at j'1!?1
the waist. Mr. Les. Schneider was |t'
best- man, and Mr. Norman Hoffmann, {if
cousin of the bride, was groomsman.
Miss Mavis Borgelt played the Wed- ;P'
ding March, while. Miss Vera Borgelt L1
sang ' ' A Parting Prayer. ' ' The recep- '
tion was held at 'Sunny Vale,' the
home of the bride's parents, where
120 guests wore received by ? E. j™

Sandara -crepe. She was assisted by (wj|
Mrs. C. G. Piltz, who wore a navy ,
frock of satin-backed repp and match- r
ing accessories. The couple left for ir
Melbourne, 'where the honeymoon was C
spent. Mrs. Piltz travelled in a wine- &
figured Sandra crepe. The . ft
gift to the bridegroom was a tr.|&l- Sp
ling r.ug, and the bridegroom's gift to if,
the bride a canteen of cutlery. The |r
bridesmaids each received a crystal i'L
violet vase. The home of Mr. and
Mrs. Piltz will be at 'Glenara,' Cul
