Conjecture | It is said that In the early days of Lobethal (c1860s) a miller named Lange came from Hahndorf and started a mill opposite the present Institute. The ruins are still to be seen. Gottlieb married Anna Rosina Jaeschke in Adelaide in 1839. She is the daughter of Johann Georg Jaeschke (who also immigrated on the Catharina) and Anna Anna Rosina nee Klischke. Georges second wife Dorothea Elisabeth nee Hoffmann immigrated with them. Johann Friedrich Gottlieb Lange and Anna Rosina nee Jaeschke later moved to the NSW Walla area |
